Field of Dreams

» Home of the Banshees in Gloucester

Tucked away in a forgotten corner of Gloucester lay a prime playing field, its lush green pasture untouched by boot or ball until the dream of an American Football team in Gloucester become reality. The Banshees had a home, during the summer it is the centre of the universe for American Football in Gloucester. During the harsh winter months it is home to Dowty RFC who take care of the Field of Dreams until the men of thunder return to action each spring.

American Football configuration 

The Field of dreams is a full 100 yards long with ample space for sideline teams and spectators. The field is maintained to a very high standard by Gloucester City Council. The field is short walk from the main Oxstalls Tennis Centre building which offers clean changing rooms, a bar serving meals and drinks, a relaxing lounge area and meeting rooms.
